Dubbed the “Netflix of Live Music”, Sonic is a live music video streaming service aimed at hard to reach, genre-hopping 16-24 year olds. We were asked to come up with branding, promos and brand stings for launch. The answer was “free gigs at your fingertips”, an in-your-face style and tone of voice that positions Sonic in a way that felt authentic to its intended audience. Projected users are already reaching 2 million in the UK alone.
